Web or cobweb. It is a device used as a trap to catch prey for spider's nutrition. The webmaster is the spider. Whereas, the "cobweb" refers to abandoned webs.
In this modern day of the internet world, Web, is used to connect people through Social Media and other means of communication like sending emails.
